hi, all. i am a denver-based food writer who is working on a story for the october issue of a national title. the good news is that it will feature all sorts of pumpkin information and recipes. the bad news is that puts me in need of pumpkins in april! please let me know if anyone has cooking pumpkins that have been properly stored since this fall and/or if you know of a grower from down under or south america who would have some i could buy and have shipped. thanks! stacey

Is your husband a pastor? If so I know you. I don't have any pumpkins though. I have seeds to grow cooking pumpkins though.

We have frozen pumpkin puree from pumpkins last year, does that help?

I have two small ones. They are about 5-7 inches in diameter. One is light orange the other one is white. Both still have their stems.

Gordon, I'd love to buy your two pumpkins and just sent you an email off line. Talk to you there. Thank you!
Pumpkin Pastor, I'll need to know what was done to it before it was pureed, i.e. roasted or some other, salt added or not, etc. but I think fresh puree should work. How can I reach you? -Stacey
