I wanted to order 1 lb of Rootshield G& Plantshield HC and emailed this company for shipping price and this is the reply I got back from them them.
''The cost to ship your order to you will be approx. $68.00 per the vendor out of NY.''

These people have got to be nutz!!!! The shipping price is almost as much as the product that cost 89.00. Thats sad trying to rip someone off like that just to send 1 lb of product.

Hi Brooks. You shouldn't even need that Rootshield anyway. The BioGrow Endo Plus that you already have has 150 million Colony Forming Units (CFU) in each pound of Trichoderma. Both Trichoderma Koningii and Trichoderma Harzianum. Good Growing!!

Brooks, you better look at the app rate. I was going to use plant shield also, but you need a LOT of it if applied at the correct rate (drench). Pretty expensive. Applied every 3 weeks would be VERY expensive.
Joel, got my package yesterday thanks.

Brooks if you are going to use the Plant Shield shoot me an email for some pretty competitive pricing. Shipped for less than you are paying for just the product.

It's been that way up here in Alaska for many years. Companies in the lower 48 states act as if Alaska is on the moon. Anchorage is a world wide shipping hub. Prices over the years have come down some. There are still some companies that don't know UPS from USPS. It pays to get several rate quotes, some companies have accounts with the shipper and due to volume get discount rates. It pays to shop around, not just for product but rates as well. Welcome to my world, Scott.

Brooks, I have a part time gunsmith business and shipping costs NEVER cease to amaze me. I can order a part that costs $1.50 and shipping will be $5.00 or more. The thing is that part will be small enough that it could be put in a standard envelope and mailed with a .41 cent stamp! Then customers get upset because you charge so much for such a small part. Yeah it is ridiculous.

My post above appears to be a sales pitch. I don't sell Plant Shield. I just have a much less expensive source than listed above. Did not mean to imply anything.

Chris, I was wondering if you were trying to sell us something. Just kidding. Please, if you have info to share, especially life experience, please state it. More people read these than reply. I am always looking for feedback good or bad. There are so many items out there, finding what works at a value is not easy. Thanks.

Many of us in this area deal with Agri Energy Resources. Agrienergy.net. I believe 1# of plant shield shipped to me was about $80 or a bit less.
They have many interesting products. They do not list pricing on their site, but it is as good or better than any I've found for Kelp, Humic...etc.
