I bought granular. It has to get to the roots and soluable is not that easy to get on the roots.

i'd advise you to get five pounds of granular for each plant you grow

Some growers use a lot with good experience some use a little. 5 pounds a plant would be fine is your growing a couple plants but if your growing 6 to 8 just way to much money. Just put it in the seed mix and transplant spot that put a little under the leaf nobes where you bury.

Hollandsgiant suggest 3-6 pounds per plant, a post last week stated A. Wolf uses 1-1 1/2 pounds per plant,,,,,I will be trying a pound.

Dan also mentioned he doesny go real heavy. I guess it all just really up to the growers and how much you want to spend .Some growers get great results using a bunch and some get great results using just a little.

I haven't used it much until this year, and i'll be putting on less than a pound per plant. McKies also go very light on the application.

Dont really wanna hijack this thread but :- My intentions are to mix some mycorr with compost and a little granular fish, blood and bone. I am gonna dib a small hole under the leaf nodes and fill with the mix. Then, pin the vine down (and bury) Does this sound ok ?
