just did a germination test and one of the seeds popped up with a spider web looking stuff over the seedling it came up 2inches never shed its casing and died anyone ever seen this?

i did use sterile starting soil tested 7 seeds and only that one had it

Doug, I think that's a thin membrane (or something similar) that is between the shell and the cotyledons. I've seen it on my seedlings before. No worries. And well, if I'm wrong. . I'm sure someone will say so!
