This is one of the best looking pumpkins over 1300 pounds ever grown, but, did it go light?
In pictures it looked bigger than some of the 1400+ pumpkins next to her.
Any thin walls in her? Internal dill rings?
Or was she as all around perfect as she looked, but just went on the scale as she looked, whilst the other were just "heavy"?
Either way, credit due, that is one of the best looking 1300+ ever. Any one got any pics of it carved?

she was pretty. very tall, great shape (this is getting racy?) If orange is your thing...this was a good one.The OVGPG list it as going 4% light.. so + or - 4% really is within the error margin.. I'd consider that "chart". I bet it see's some dirt, I hope to find room for it.

Only by - 4%? Not a big deal then. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the error margin is about 5% +/-, so yeah, I consider that Chart. So she was as heavy as she looked. I would think the walls were still around 9" thick then.
What I was more curious about was if she had any internal issues, where there any thin spots or internal dill rings? Was the blossom end thick?
That sort of thing only Jerry must know.
If anyone has any more pictures of that awsome fruit they are willing to e-mail out, I am at [email protected].
That is one of the nicest looking pumpkins grown, really.

I like the 1317.5 Rose as well. There's a possibility I will plant one this year. It was crossed with the 998 Pukos, which may add less pronounced ribbing to the offspring, and a little less orange, but maybe more size potential. I'm basing this on the 998 offspring I've seen so far. I think Jerry said the 998 pollinator split in August, so we won't know what its true color potential was. I'd like to know the shape of the 998 pollinator pumpkin though.

I wouldn't read to much in the light part of that fruit. That is a killer cross from a proven grower that should grow some real large orange fruit. I have it on my short list and will try to get it in the mix.

no internal flaws was very sound.I was very surprised when it went a little light as most 1370's go on chart or a little heavy.Jerry

I still say that at -4%, that is within the range of tape error, and if you think about it, she had very tall ribs too, so that could cause the tape to go around more than it would with more shallow ribs.
Hats off, that is IMHO, the best looking over 1300, ever.
Jerry, would you be willing to e-mail me some pics of her when she was carved? Shoot even before she was carved?
I am at [email protected] , if you got any images on the hard disk, that would be awesome.
