If you are referring to what that pumpkin plant is growing in, that is just some dirt I hacked out of last years frozen patch. Used a pick to get the dirt up, then I brought it inside to thaw and later mixed in some straw, half composted birch leaves and added some sand to the dirt. The hoops you have to jump through in Alaska...lol.

Damn JD you must like your dirt a lot. Hey if you can get your hands on some fishy peat get some. It comes from down your way, a Mr.Poindexter makes and sells it. I bet a whole bunch of that stuff would grow one Hell of a PUMPKIN. Later Scott.
