I have read where some growers have their plants/leaves tested. I know that Western Ag Labs provides this service. My question is do growers do this at a certain point of the season (ie pre pollination/ post pollination) or do you do it if the plant does not seem to be performing well. Pap has made reference to this test many times, but I have never had the test done. Any input is appreciated. Phil

Phil,
I have done it many times. It is a foliar analysis and is done on the 6th leaf back from the growth point. Best to bring in more than one leaf.
I am the only one who has ever posted foliar results so I would appreciate if you could. Foliar test are much more telling than soil tests.
