Alan Kopp 1,427 - It was a real pleasure presenting such a fine grower with the award. Al is a true gentleman and I am glad to have had time to talk to him during the seminar.

Sorry to keep it a secret for so long, but those WI guys wanted you to sweat it out and wonder the whole winter, lol.

Great job representing your state. 2 years running for WI with the rookie of the year award now.

way to go Al, you deserve it. at the weigh off, you dedicated your pumpkin to your late father. i am sure he is looking down as pleased as can be with this award as well. way to go brother, and best of luck in your sophomore year.

p.s. i wish everyone had the chance to watch a rookie grower not only go big, but to go 200 pounds over the estimate, and then learn he was the WI record holder. i am getting goosebumps again just thinking about it.

Thank you it is truly a honor. I would like to thank all of you that help me last year. I couldn't have done it without the network of people here on bp and a lot of phone calls to a grower that took me in and led me in the right direction.
Thanks to all Al
