The Indiana Pumpkin Growers Association will be holding their spring meeting SATURDAY from 1-5pm (eastern).
The location will be the Walb Student Union on the campus of Indiana-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. 2101 E. Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Map available at www.ipga.us.
Our special guest is Joe Richards from Illinois who grew a 1468 that was weighed in mid-August at the 2007 Indiana State Fair. Tom Beachy will also be giving a presentation on the importance of genetics in seed selection.
All are welcome however we do ask you please join our club ($15) or you can choose to make a donation ($15) towards the food and drinks being served; also you will receive two "free" newsletters and pumpkin seeds for your donation.

The spring meeting was by far one of the best, well organized, professional meetings I have seen. I want to personally thank all of the IN group for inviting me and all of the hospitality I received. Special thanks to Tom and Kelly. I hope "by the seat of my pants" techniques can help anybody there. Have a great spring and I hop to see you at INDY. Joe
