I liked the indoor butterfly observatory. a lot of greenery, waterfalls and thousands of butterflies. They should have more info. at the hotel.

Ask when you check in Wiz, sometimes they have coupons to places that you might not normally try.
Also check online a bit you can find all kinds of things. I haven't been there since my honeymoon 16 years ago, so this will be a treat for me.

Personally I would get in touch with Drew and Eddy I think the patch tour would keep me busy for many days (sleeping in to make up for the late hours ;-)

Gary, If you get a chance, follow the river downstream to the center of town. Just outside is a gift shop/visitor center. There is an elevator that goes down to the class 6 rapids which is quite impressive. You have to pay a few bucks but it is worth it. I will try and find the location.

If you don't mind driving around 30-45 minutes the Royal Botanical Garden is in Hamilton Ontario. It is fantastic. A few minutes from the falls is a large floral clock. A little further down the road is the Ontario School of Horticulture, they have nice displays, though that time of year it may be limited. If you are daring there is a tram that crosses over the Whirlpool, didn't do it afraid of heights. There is an enclosed butterfly garden, a place where they blow glass while you watch, as well as an enclosed aviary, a wax museum quick walking distance from the falls and a lot of crazy places to tour through all lined up. On the American side you can go up in a hot air ballon, didn't do it afraid of heights. Wiz if you have AAA send for the book on Ontario and New York state. there is so much to see there, it would be a shame to miss any of it. Have a great time Kathy Have a great time

Buffalo is'nt to far from there I think, thats where they invented buffalo wings, the actual restaurant. You can also go down inside the falls for 7-10 dollars,
