Each year I have a couple seeds I want to plant that I just don't find room for. I often keep coming back to the same seeds. A couple of my "almost" seeds are:
865.5 Nesbitt (705 Stelts x 723 Bobier) 986.5 Ceja (842 Eaton x 898 Knauss)
I assume the same thing happens to other growers. What are your alomst seeds?

I have a whole envelope full and can only plant two. This year I have not decided what germinate yet. If I pick a good one as a backup and do not need it at least I can give it to someone who will plant it.

LOL, that's good stuff. I felt the same way about both the 865.5 Nesbitt and the 904 Sperry. I ended up growing them both. They are both on my short list to grow again. I grow many, many plants with very few repeats...both of these I will grow again. They are the real deal! Here's another one: the 851 Davies!! All 3 of these offer REAL potential, great shapes, very good color and all were OTC/heavy! Enjoy, BF

Thats the problem when u get a seed that your almost afraid of planting it. I have one of those. I am proud of it but keep thinking, "If I wait till next yr I may find a better cross". Last yr due to poor germination all my reserves got planted.

Been planning on planting the 1370 Rose the last four years. Also wondering if I should plant my last 1068 Wallace this year or wait to plant it next year. If I plant it next year, it will be planted in the patch that has been sitting for two years with Alfalfa growing. Been seriously thinking of crossing the 783 Daletas with the 1068 Wallace.

Doug14, plant the 1370 Rose. i command you, lol. look at my 912.5 (1370 X 582) on the AGGC or i will email you a pic if you want as well. i cannot see how anyone, other than me, DOH! ha ha can resist its possibility...1370 is such a great seed. and, per the recent 705 Stelts quest we are hearing about, pretty-much any seed should be obtainable for the right seeds in return. go for it in '08! thanks! it has been about 24 hours since i was last at this place on this board. it has been worth the wait to hear that any suggestion i make might be used, lol---1370---1370--1370--- this is really cool-- i am typing on MY keyboard, listening through 'phones to an !outstanding! English superband called Porcupine Tree. yes, oddly-named, but they are at the very least the equivalent of RUSH and the keyboard parts are fun to type-to. good night -----------_--___------_------------__------_-__-_------_--
