Our seed crosses have evolved so much over the past 3 - 5 years that it amazes me anyone who would go back to 565 Momberts or 935 Lloyds. Using any cross in the past 2 years or so will be the way to go, not regressing in crosses from seeds which we have already advanced from.

All that being said, I think the best seeds now would be the 1470 Wallace and the 1180 Pukos.

I'd like to see 801 Stelts x 865 Mettler done.

I like both of those plants when I grew them (in different years, dang it), but I think i'd really like to find a 935 to see how it compares to today's growing practices to see if it can go heavier than the WR that was grown off from it before.

I may make this cross this year 1502 Wallace X 1343 Krug look at the parents of these 2 1068 X 1354 and 1231 X 1334 that looks real good on paper to me.
