Which home ph testing kits do you guys and ladies use??

I used to sell em where i used to work.

Save your money and send your soil sample to a soil tester.(the growers can tell u where to go) The over the counter ones arent that well for micor chemicals. like iron, calcium etc. and I noticed that if u used city water u never got the correct results.

I have used the Rapitest pH meter for years. Here is a photo:

It is very accurate and usually agrees within a few tenths of a point of lab tests. BUT, you must follow the directions. It is great for spot checks etc. but one should still get a lab test done every so often. The guy at the local ag store here also uses the same model to test his customers soil. Home soil nutrient testers are garbage but the Rapitest meter really works.

I use the same one as Larry mentioned and works well..also agree on lab checks but it works great for spot checks and basic ammending and what not and doesnt break the bank..I like it and cant complain. I dont use city water with testing though cause of course this could alter your results.

I use the rapitest meter also. After doing a couple soil tests I realized the meter was about 5 points high so now when I use it I know to subtract that much. Works good for spot checking.

i use the exact same ph meter as Larry, I bought mine at Lowes , I think it was less then 15 bucks if I remember correctly.

I received my detailed soil report and need to
make a one point change in my ph, so spot checks are needed.
