Has anyone ever tried crossing an ag with a crooked neck squash? Will it take?

I'm assuming your talking about yellow crooked neck squash ? also called summer squash? if thats the case then no they will not take as yellow crooked neck is curcubita pepo and Atlantic Giant is Curcurbita Maxima.

This is correct. Only fruits in the same geneus family (or whatever it is) may cross pollenate. You can however cross AGs with hubbards and giant banana sqash since they are in the same family (curcurbita maxima) I'm gonna play around with this concept this summer and see what happens. Adam
