Mine are progressing great. I've moved them from the freezer in the garage to the freezer in the kitchen for easy access this Friday when I will start soaking them.

All three I started are up and ready to transplant. 895.5 Hester, 576 Michalec* and 526 est. Michalec, both 03 seeds. The 895.5 was one of the first to germinate. All of them are looking good. I will be culling one of my own as some point, most likely the 576 as I had many good seeds from that and can grow it again. the 526 est had very few seeds, I won't get too many chances with that one and want to cross it back with the 895.5 as I won't get any more chances with that one. I got the seed from Jim Sherwood and got last years from Geneva Emmons. Don't know of anyone I can beg one from for next year.

I've got a few 534.8 Andrew's started but they all seem to have the same funny root radical problem that none of my other seedlings had. They are starting to break through the soil but have poor root development (NO taproot)

I've got all mine up and going but I will keep my fingers crossed. 990 Hebb, 895 Hester, 552 Sherwood, 673 Swarts and a 1082 Platte. I know that the 990 , 673 and 1082 are a gamble if they throw green or not but if it's big I don't mined.

990 Hebb sprouted with only one cot that came up.... i removed the seed case and it is all set, since the cot that did come up had with it the tiniest little true leaf, not yet formed, but it's there, and that's all that matters...by the weigh, every seed i have planted this year has gone-in laying on its side, edge-up, filed and not soaked---and i have been having the best of luck with practically NO damage to the seedlings whatsoever. except for the 990 Hebb, and like 3 out of 15 that did not do anything, there has been no other drama, and i like it...

I had problems with my 879 squash seed also, tried one, nothing, tried a second, nothing.. so I got out my last 895.5 and it is roaring out of the seed coat, and into the patch in one weeks time. I have my 717 in the far side of the patch to use as a pollenator. Greenies looking good here now.
