My guess...and its a guess...is he will bypass anything with alot of 900lyons background (895Hester stuff) and go for something in the 616Corkum background or Stellpflug plus Corkum.970 Nesbitt is a strong possibility also.If I was Craig, Id grow the 970....so that is my final answer...970.....Glenn

Ok my bets the 990 Hebb or 970 Nesbitt.......similiar to G.....answer....but then again Craig has picked unproven stock before and made it work

970 Nesbitt's not a squash! OK, I mean yea, it's green, sorta, light green, but hey, what respectable squash grower is gonna grow a pumpkin, oops..sqaush, with a freaky recessive allele that woke up and pops a puke green round thing probably every 5th generation of crossbacked selfed sibbed plantings cause ya might as well grow the 745 Miller?

Hmmm, 616 Corkum, and 900.8 Lyons are getting kinda old. The hunt is on big time for the first 1000 pound true green squash. I hope my idol Len Stellpflug gets it with our 834 (if he grows it) we sent him the #1, through #6 best seeds of the batch, he sent back #3 through #6 with a note asking me to share with other growers due to the limited number of seeds in the 834. Len sent us the 895.5 seed that grew the 834 with out my asking as he knew we wanted to try a squash. So far Mr.Weir has not asked for an 834, but I have set one aside to repay him for the 1260 seed he sent us (with out asking for it).

I think this is the year of the GREEN. There will be a 1000 pounder this year. A lot more growing green and a lot more choice seeds.
