I COLLECTED SEEDS FROM SEVERAL PUMPKINS AT CHINOOK WINDS CASINO!!!! IT SEEMED LIKE TEN??? WHEN I CAME TO THE LAST ONE!! leeland??? half rotted!!! i was excited to say the least!!! almost done!!! niels pumpkin contained hardly any seeds and they were all moldy!!! after cleaning myself annd the seed!! the few leelands were huge!!! I SAY HUGE!! ALMOST AS BIG AS THE 676HANCOCK.. this left me wondering about seed shapes and sizes!!! also wieghts compared to potential!!!! mold no problem!! out of 10 pumpkins these were #9 in size?????

As far as I know seed size doesn't have any reflection on pumpkin size. The 705's were small white seeds. I think the 287.5 will be a good squash seed if it gets planted. The 675 is an 895x895 and grew the 899.5 Werner, and the 552 grew the 962 Sherwood. If you have any seeds from the 287.5 let me know, I'd be interested in growing a couple sometime. Tom

If you wanna see a really cool seed, look at the 481 Hester. Now *that's* a seed...about to explode.

I'm nto discreditting the seed, it definately has the potential, but like i said, too many available geen combos to be very consistant. Not on paper at least. Tom
