after lagging behind the pumpkin weights for many years i believe that thanks to growers like joel and others who stayed with the green, that green squash genetics are making significant gains over the last few years. congrats to you growers of the green for a job well done, pap

I am new to growing pumpkins and squash but I enjoy seeing the diversity of color and form. Great stuff. The more color, form, plant habit etc. we have in the gene pool the better for pumpkin growing. Going to the pumpkin weigh off this year was a diversity bonanza. I just wish I saw some more greens and grayish blues. If anyone has some big green genes to share I would love to try them here in Utah. A big thanks to those who grow them GREEN.
