This year the 943.5 grew the 989 ewing. It had somewhat of a color issue to put it lightly. This seed seems to have the right stuff to go big, does anyone have pics of 943.5 offspring that show it can throw nonquestionable green. I can't seem to find any pics of any of the other offspring
Known offspring: 1099* Jacobus 798* jacobus 989 ewing ( pumpkin)

This is the only offspring that I know of. The 1099.5 and the 798 were both dark green. I have grow the 943.5 three times and it is the best Squash plant I have ever planted. I will plant it again. The seed is hard to germinate. However, the plant grows like crazy and so does the fruit. E-mail me for pictures. youngtracy25@yahoo.com

Remember... The only questionable lines are the ones at Wall-Mart on Christmas eve!

Lol. I sure hope that the 989 Ewing seeds have retained the good qualities of the 943.5. That 943.5 plant is a real nice grower. I will try the 989 this year just for kicks. I have a lot of seeds left from it. Happy new year Fella's!
