hey im not into squash, but have you squash guys seen this one? WOW, can they get any darker color than this?!?!?!?!

Cant find this one in AGGC but it was grown off 611 Gadberry..... 900 Lyons sibbed, then selfed twice than sibed to make the 611.

Does anyone have a seed from this one? I'd be interested in planting it. cool. As a back up.(I don't have a back up as of yet for my one and only squash. Let me know if anyone has an extra seed. coloradopolarbear@hotmail.com

Hi Gang! The 767 Johanson was a black beauty of a squash same color an ribbing as her momma the 611* Gadberry which was off of the 823* selfed Gadberry which was from the 834* Gadberry Selfed which was from the 895.5* Hester that my mentor Len Stelpflug sent us back in 2002. great seed stock, all the off spring from that little seed Len gave us have had the blackest, barrel shaped squash we have ever seen. Nice job Klaven on your Sweden record Squash!

The 767 Johanson is a monster. This plant is growing like mad. The bugs don't seem to like it as well. It is keeping up in size with the 1229 Hoalland 2004 @ 12 feet long 20 feet wide in 40 days. I hope it gives me a black fruit.

Final weight on my 767 johanson crossed withthe 1334.5 daletas came in at 897 pouns. 15% over the chart. No problems with this fruit!

motogizmo, how is the color of the 897? can you post a picture for us. i have the 767 seed and am thinking about growing it.
