John Barlow 1066.5 in 2004 I'm guessing that was back when squmpkins were classified as squash?

Thanks for the info, that is what I come up with but didnt know if squmpkin records still stand after the color ruling came into effect.

A lot of UOW greenies in WI. Looks like the 768.5 Clarence Koch '02 is the biggest Official Squash.

Wisconsin needs a P.R. agent. No info in AGGC and no informative data in GPC listing......

Informative data on GPC? That fruit was listed and we all know that AGGC has great but limited data.
Since I know little of these green things I'll ask, John Barlow's 1066.5 IS listed as the WI squash record. Was it a squmpkin I'm sure it was weighed in Anamosa? If so were those records tossed out with the GPC rule change?

The weigh-offs are responsible for entering their own GPC data here at BigPumpkins. The data entry is a little time consuming (if done completely) but the entry portal remains open for many days longer than it needs to. If you don't finish in one sitting you can go back in later.
Likewise AGGC entries can be made any time.
It's up to the growers & site organizers to submit their own data in either case.

If it was a true squash than John would and should be reconized as the first grower to break 1000 pound squash mark.. Looks like a late season green from that pic would be nice to see other pics of it.. mark

John Barlow's 1066.5 was weighed at Anamosa, and I found a picture I had taken of it. I actually have it on my screensaver. It was more of a gray/tan color, not a true green

Check my latest diary entry once it is posted. It has a photo of John Barlow's 1066.5 from the 2004 Anamosa Pumpkinfest.
