Wayne, the heaviest five true green squash this year all came from Canada. The WR last year also came from Canada, and most of these all from Ontario. Especially Ontario has produced several WR over the years and easily leads the top 10 average of any state or province.

I am with Wayne on this one...Good old USA will take over the Squash record!!! And Quinn is as good any any to do it!!! And I have to throw in my 2 cents worth on our very own 1086 Est that we lost to a hair line crack thru the stem area...it was on a 552 Sherwood and with th ewall thickness we had seen on seed removal....Well let's just say it was well over the est. been dong this hobby for 15 years I know a Heavy tot he chart fruit when I see one... and seriously don't take this the wrong way just trying to have some fun!!! Those canadians are great growers trust me..you don;t weights like those posted here with out knowing what they are doing!! DAN PS...We are making a run at it our selves in 2007...Putting in a 848 MacKenzie Here in Iowa...we got a beauty out of our 1086Est seed...weighing 946.5#!! Love those pretty dark green ones... Good luck to all...both above and below the border!!
