Subject: how to heat up my hoop house?

I'm trying to grow a squash during winter time, will problably fail but i'm doing all i can anyway, just for fun! But i,m looking for a way to heat up my grow tent other than electricity. does anybody know some alternitives?

Not knowing what your low temps in winter are,,using bottles/barrels of water as thermal mass will help hold ambient temps up during low temp periods as long as you get sun during the days to keep the water warm in the containers. Covering the hoops to insulate when cold helps.
Possibly heat tubes with a small fan that would move some air from you home to the tent if that is a possiblity. All relative to the distance involved and how much effort you want to put in. Good luck !

Oh geez...I can see it now (again)...."I tried growing squash and it doesn't get as big as giant pumpkins"...lol
