I just cant grow green.Greenies is not my thing. Seeds are looking for good home :} 646.5 Rivard 04' (1062Rivard xSelf) 692.5Brunst04' (756.8Kennedy 03'xself)listed as true green. 717Rockwell 03' (895.5 hesterx self). the other two seeds not sure what color they will grow dont think they are squash but they need home as well. 616.5Brunst 04' (877.8 Powers x1104.5 Hester 03') 778Yohe 04' (1057Werner 03' x 958 Ciliberto 03') If anyone wants all these seeds or just one of em just shoot me a email. The 717 Rockwell produced orange ones didnt it?

I dont know Tom Rocky told his went orange but i dont know if anyone else grew the 717. The 717 was a pretty green itself. I didnt wanna take the chance on the 717 my luck it would throw big green yuck!!!lol Ed

there was at least one other 717 that i know of that went orange.
the 717 was sold after weighoff, and seeds were sent back. rocky's theory was that he was send bix max seeds after seeing the offspring.

I grew the 717 and it gave me the prettiest orange 250 pounder in the patch in 2004. Also the 616.5 was mislabeled. It was actually a sturdy shaped orange pumpkin. We grew it this year and it grew orange. Chip.

I also grew my own 692.5 in 2005. It grew a nice true green squash. Huge, long stem also. Chip
