WE HARVEST OUR SQUASH SEEDS TODAY. AND WE DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE LARGE SEEDS OUR NOT THEY ARE BIGGER THAN IT'S PARENTS
WE GREW A 709.0 X SELF R WENTRELL (494 NEUVILLE X 616 CORKUM) WHICH PRODUCED A 419 CAVANAUGH OFW THIS WAS ARE FIRST YEAR GROWING. WE WERE ABLE TO GET ABOUT 400 SEEDS FROM THE PLANT ALL VERY LARGE TO US, THEY AVERAGE ABOUT 1 1/4 LONG BY 3/4 WIDE BY 3/8 THICK. DARK IN COLOR AND ALL MATURE.
SO DOES SIZE MATTER?
OUR ARE THIS EVEN BIG SEEDS?
THANKS

Those are fairly good-sized seeds...are they dry? Drying will make monster looking seeds normal sized in a few days....unfortunately, size of the seed doesn't mean squat.....its whats inside geneticly and how you pamper them environmentally that counts.
