I was wondering if preen vegetable feed and preventer is safe to use for giant pumpkins and other giants.

Yes, the Andrusz use it and have grown some of the biggest pumpkins in the world! I was skeptical, but used it this year and had zero negative results, in fact my daughter grew a 1951 lb pumpkin using it, that would have been much larger if she hadn’t harvested it early at only DAP 76 for our local fair. It doesn’t prevent all weeds, but it helps.

Trifluralin is the active ingredient in Preen. There are more cost effective liquids that have 44.5% active ingredient in a liquid that are easy to spray
