Last year I had the pleasure of trading seeds with Al Berard, "Wait til next year" here on BP. One of the seeds I traded was a 919 Richards. The 919 grew the 1159 Richards, one of the most beautiful pumpkins ever grown. To my surprise, I got home to find an envelope full of Al's 2008 crosses including a baggie with about 30 of the 919 x self crosses. Don't be fooled by the weight, 2008 saw record rain in Maine during August and Al was hit by SVB's. If anyone would like a seed or two just let me know. I heard that Joe Richards doesn't have any 919's left and P and P seeds are sold out.

Doug , no photos of our 310 off the 919 Richards though I can see it in my mind .... was nice ribbed shaped and a little longer than it was wide & dark ORANGE . Normally only take photos of above 500 pounders . Andy , thanX for the input and if anyone is looking for 4 or 5 rather than 1 or 2 contact me as the 310 put out about a million and 62 seeds ... I'm giving one a shot this spring . AL

They're going quick Big Al lol. The 30 you sent me were very well received. I kept 5 for me and some of our qroup have a few as well. Looking forward to seeing how they do.
