Upper: plastic cover should protect the remaining few plants from early am maurading.
Lower: Direct sowed the 6.66 Elaine's into the row. I sowed at least a half dozen seed in each planting hole. About 100 seeds in total. Burning through a lot of seeds in order to get one or two good plants.
8.02 Greene x 5 will be backups. Thanks Dan. I've got a lot of good seeds, but I feel like I've Barry Bonds on my team now.
I'm not too bothered by the 6.66 thing because it wasn't 6.66 when I first weighed it. It was 6.74, I believe. But a few days later when I had a witness it weighed 6.66. Well, that's unfortunate. But maybe it's like thing where bad things can happen to good people..? It's not a bad tomato, it's just been dealt some adversity? Life dealt it a bad hand.
