I had a tomato plant that inexplicably failed to pollinate. Then later, yesterday, noticed a verticulum/phytophthora symptom... a couple leaves wilting for no good reason. Perhaps the disease caused the pollination failure as well? Most of the plants seem healthy but sometimes its hard to know. In some cases the only disease symptom might be poor tomato growth. Or BER. Or in this case a failed pollination.
My neighbor has ripe tomatoes already. The problem with giants is, anything that would speed up the ripening is going to be bad for the final size!
