I've been away the last 3 weekends and hadn't gotten my wind fencing up. I paid a price for that. I lost 2 secondaries, many roots and many leaves on the 2144, a bad hit to what had been a strong plant. The 2226 Hoornstra was less beaten up. Our terrible spring continues, 39 degrees last night and the same tonight. Fall starts around August 15th here and our summer is shrinking fast.
