I bought one of these jab style planters this year. it saves your back in a lot of instances. It will plant into tilled garden soil or punch right through plastic mulch. If you have a big garden and are trying to find ways to save your back, these things are reasonably priced. I think I paid like 30 or 40 bucks on Amazon for this one. It's an Italian made piece of equipment and very durable.
