I'm setting a target goal of 88 degrees and 44 percent humidity for the tomatoes. Thats what they were at this morning, and they looked happy. With no interventions, the temp would be over 100 and the humidity below 20. I'm not going to go all Matt DeBacco and buy fancy controllers and gizmos but I'm using all the other little tricks I can come up with.

This winter I thought investing a lot of time and a bit of money into growing tomatoes again made sense. But it sure is a distraction. I think the main drawback of being a competitive tomato grower is the pollinating. There's no vine burying, instead there is pollinating. Every day... Probably until early August!

Well, back to the toil which (when it isnt fun) is our biblical punishment.
