Todays topic is coffee grounds. I dont think straight coffee grounds are great for plants, I think they should be good for hungry worms though. By the time they pass through the worms they shouldn't damage the plants.
I got a bit carried away and raided every coffee stand while I was in town the other day. It was an interesting adventure. I got in excess of a whole barrel worth of coffee grounds. So I think this will be a once & done project... I'll spread them over a few thousand square feet, so it should thin that huge amount out to a modest dusting, which may only be about a weeks worth of food for the worms, but thats ok, they have other stuff to eat too.
