Hammocked a few more tomatoes today. I am at the borderline of my goal for this year of 3 pounds. At about 16 inches, growth slows way down. Just not enough good soil. Working on the future soil. Trying to figure out the best cost effective plan. The choice is between a few plants with great soil next year or many plants with great soil 3 years from now. Bobcat rental at $300 per day is a big negative. Compost delivered at a cost of $30 cu yd is second negative. 10 years, I will have it the way i want it. The path there is yet to be determined.
