Worked hard today trying to get a place to grow this year. Tiller is objecting...too many sumac roots. I need to tighten the belt. Just about 8000 sq ft tilled..waiting for the semi load of compost tomorrow. Looking at the garden, I think there are three more big trees to take down before I put up fencing. Pumpkin season is a write off for me..I still have hope for the tomatoes. My nine year old Golden is probably wondering , why are there not plants in the ground already. I started growing the year he was born. Very faithful patch companion.
