							| So the nearly 2.5' foot 7.05 Porkchop with stem and roots is nearly all underground except for a few inches. I chose to plant it sideways and carefully bend the growth tip up. In the digging hole I dug a horizontal tunnel, amended it and the dug soil, and reburied everything after cutting more leaves. The long root mass is a couple of inches under the weed barrier and should heat up nicely. The 1' buried bare stem should also root. |  |  |
