This morning we trimmed the neighbor's oleander bushes that were hanging over into our yard.Oleanders are tough. They can grow anywhere with little care as long as it does not get below 20 degrees. In California they plant them alongside the highways. All parts of Oleanders are poisonous to humans and animals. We noticed our covercrop did not grow where the oleanders had dropped blossoms last year. They must be poisonous to annual rye too!
