This was grown from my 1463. I loved the colour and shape, and it was growing better than anything I've seen in the past, mid 40's for a good while. Just like the wood board issue I had with the 1503, it split underneath the fruit in late August at Day 53 and quit growing completely. It was at 403". I weighed it a week later when I knew it was done and it came in at 1572 pounds, or 14% heavy. It was thick. I really would have liked to see what this one could have done with another 45 days of growth. I will grow the 1463 this season to see how it goes. I crossed the 1572 with the 1873 Steil which was a very nice orange shaped fruit.
